Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Marcele Studio handles information when teams and clients plan, approve, schedule, and publish social media content.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Marcele Studio website, workspace, and related services (the “Service”). It covers workspace owners, team members, clients, and other people who use or interact with the Service.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use Marcele Studio, we may process:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, profile details, and authentication identifiers.
- Workspace information, including client groups, board memberships, roles, invitations, cards, approvals, comments, notes, due dates, and schedules.
- Content you provide, such as captions, uploaded images and videos, drafts, creative briefs, and other media.
- Connected-account information, such as selected social profiles, page or account identifiers, granted permissions, access tokens, refresh tokens, and token expiration information.
- Publishing information, including scheduled times, selected destinations, publishing status, and platform error responses.
- Technical information needed to operate and protect the Service, such as device, browser, network, diagnostic, and security logs.
- Communications you send to us, including support and data-rights requests.
Marcele Studio does not ask for or store your Facebook, Instagram, or other social-platform password. Account connections use the authorization flow provided by the relevant platform.
3. How we use information
- Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service.
- Create workspaces, boards, media folders, approvals, calendars, and other collaboration features.
- Connect social accounts and publish or schedule content only as directed by an authorized user.
- Display account and post information inside the appropriate workspace.
- Send service, security, support, and account notices.
- Investigate abuse, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with applicable law.
We do not sell personal information or use connected social-account data for unrelated advertising.
4. How information is shared
We may share information only as needed:
- With other authorized members of the workspace or client group where the information was created.
- With a social platform when an authorized user connects an account or directs Marcele Studio to publish content.
- With infrastructure, storage, authentication, security, and support providers that help operate the Service.
- When required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, Marcele Studio, or others.
- As part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the Service, subject to appropriate safeguards.
5. Social-platform data
If you connect a Meta account or another social platform, Marcele Studio processes only the data and permissions needed for the features you choose. You may disconnect a social account from Marcele Studio or revoke access through that platform’s settings. Platform data is also subject to the platform’s own terms and privacy policy.
6. Retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, satisfy legitimate operational or security needs, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Workspace content remains until an authorized user deletes it or the workspace is deleted. Connected-account tokens are removed or rendered unusable when the connection is deleted, the token expires, or access is revoked.
You can request deletion using our data deletion instructions. Some limited records may be retained when required by law or for fraud prevention, security, accounting, or dispute resolution.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or obtain a copy of personal information. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To make a request, email us using the contact information below. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the relevant workspace.
9. Children
Marcele Studio is a business collaboration service and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will post the revised policy here and update the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated inside the Service or by email when appropriate.
